At Tacoma Music Academy, we offer a variety of lessons that are student-centered and fun! Our instructors are professional, personable, and friendly. We work with each student to craft a lesson plan that is focused on what they need and what they enjoy most.

• Music Together® 9-week session of Music Together® - early childhood music and movement. Join us for musical fun! Fill in this form for upcoming Summer session starting in early June. 

• Private Pre-Piano Lessons for ages 3-5

Pre-piano lessons are a great way to expose your child to making music with the piano and practice basic music competence in a 1:1 setting with a patient and fun instructor.

$136 per month for 30 min weekly lessons. 

• Group Piano Lessons for ages 7-11

30- minute small group piano lessons once a week for ages 7-11 on weekday evenings and weekends. These lessons are great for beginner levels, as the students each progress on their own journey with individualized coaching within a small group setting. Sign Up here.  

• Private Piano Lessons for all ages

We offer once-a-week private piano lessons for all ages and levels, typically 30-minutes for children and teens, 45-60 min for adult students. Appointment times are available most weekday afternoons or evenings. Classical and Jazz styles. Read more about the benefits of learning to play piano. Monthly low tuition starts at $136.

Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. 

• Private Voice Lessons for children ages 8 and up.

We offer once-a-week 30-minute private voice lessons for children who enjoy singing and want to learn about music. Appointment times are available on weekday afternoons or evenings.

• Private Voice/Musical Theatre Lessons for teens and adults.

Private Voice/Music Theatre lessons for teens and adults can be scheduled in 30-, 45-, or 60- minute per week appointments. These lessons for beginners to semi-professionals help develop technique, aural skills, and vocal ability. Great audition preparation!

• Private Guitar/Ukulele Lessons for ages 6 to adult
• Private Trumpet Lessons for ages 8 to adult
• Private Trombone Lessons for ages 8 to adult
• Private Clarinet/Saxophone Lessons for ages 8 to adult
• Private Composition/Jazz Improvisation Lessons for ages 8 to adult
• Private Drum/Percussions Lessons for ages 8 to adult
